Wedding Party

Anna Hayes

Maid of Honor

Anna is a boss, and I couldn't imagine anyone to be able to kill at being my MOH other than her. We met sophomore year in college while at an engineering event - we instantly clicked. We both majored in chemical engineering which naturally led to us to spending countless long nights studying or working projects. However, after all that work one of the many things we shared in common and loved to do was go out and grab a good beer together. This passion for hops in combination with our love for science drove us to create the greatest USF AIChE fundraising event in history called Sampling Science (which as of February of this year celebrated it’s 5th anniversary). Now we are both Materials & Process Engineers working at different aerospace companies on the east coast, and still try to enjoy a beer together whenever possible.

Paola Cardenas

Bridesmaid

My Dad would always refer to Paola as "my other daughter"; we go way back - I’m talking way-way, like back to the Mario Party Gamecube kinda days. We met in high school and our friendship only kept growing after we graduated. I'll never forget those long nights together talking about random nonsense when nothing really mattered, to those Mario days, and even all the way over to California in the Redwoods. We've seen each other go through so many different phases of life and I couldn't be more excited to have her stand by my side. Paola lives near my parents, and even through our busy schedules we still try to see each other whenever possible.

Katie McGill

Bridesmaid

Katie and I pretty much lived together for a portion of my time through college, and since I’ve graduated we’ve only become closer friends. Matthew, Andrew (one of the groomsmen) and Katie lived together in college, making her one of the few who understands Matthew, probably just as much as me! Katie lives with Andrew in the beautiful Hyde Park of Tampa, always welcoming us to stay with them when we are over. We always have a good time together (especially at Katie’s Family Lake House!), and I look forward to see what our future has in store for us. She is truly a kind and caring friend of mine that I am so grateful to have in my life.

Oceane Vincent

Bridesmaid

Oceane and I met at the circus arts school that we both attended in Clearwater Florida. We both spent years of our childhood together performing aerial and circus arts. As one of my oldest childhood friends I look to her as the sister I never had. From long nights at dance rehearsals to crazy car rides in my Celica, there's not much we haven't experienced together. Oceane started working in Miami while I was still in school, which made as a great road trip destination for one of my college spring break road trips that I’ll never forget. She works for Audemars Piguet (so fancy), and is French just like Matthew!

Jennifer Collins

Bridesmaid

Jennifer, Matthew's sister, was there to witness (and record) Matthew’s proposal to me! She has been through some of my best moments, including when I said "Yes!" to the dress. Jenny is a nole… which I guess is okay (go Bulls!), and she will be graduating in June with a degree in Meteorology. She is an awesome person always down for an adventure anytime we see her. I look forward to the day I can call her family, too.

Christopher Collins

Best Man

Throughout all the moves and traveling that came with growing up in a French-American military family, Christopher and I have always found ourselves paired up as bunkmates. As a child Christopher used to corral the neighborhood kids and put them to work fabricating tree forts on the local golf course or reenacting mock wargames he’d learned about on the history channel; often using our father’s spare MRE’s from an Iraq deployment as payment for the cheap labor. After his high school graduation, Christopher earned an appointment to United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and now serves as a Captain in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. Christopher has just returned from his first tour in Afghanistan, during which his second son, Benjamin, was born. Christopher and his wife, Hanna, are happily married and have two baby boys, Owen and Ben.

Andrew McGill

Groomsman

I first met Andrew at USF while I was attending a Sigma Nu Fraternity rush event a few weeks into my freshman year. At the time he was already a fraternity brother living in the frat house and in need of a roommate. After getting a bid to join Sigma Nu I immediately took up the vacancy in the fraternity house and left the dredded mold ridden freshmen dorm room. Living with Andrew in the fraternity house meant a new adventure every week, most of which can only be discussed about over a beer (preferably not a Natural Light). In March of this year Andrew will marry Katie Schreiber, they have been together for over 10 years! Andrew is currently a PhD student at USF research in virology and immunology.

Baruch Roshe

Groomsman

I honestly can’t remember the first time I met Roche, mostly because at first he was just one of Chris’s friends from high school. If I were to guess, it was probably that one day Chris convinced Roche to attend a wrestling practice after school; which likely ended with Roche pissed off by Chris “accidentally” head throwing him into a cross-face cradle pin. It wasn’t until I ran into Roche while at USF that we became friends or, rather, after I stayed up until 4am helping him write a term paper on the Napoleonic wars. Baruch Roche is now serving in the US Army as a Captain in the 2-16 Cavalry Squadron 199th Brigade.

Brandon Walker

Groomsman

Nearly every friday night of my teenage years was spent down the street watching sports games and eating East Coast Pizza with Brandon. From helping me with understanding the crazy social dynamics of high school to navigating the university system Brandon has never hesitated to provide advice and guidance. Brandon is graduating this year from Auburn’s School of Medicine (VCOM) with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine.

Garett Lubecki

Groomsman

Garett, Taylor’s brother, is enlisted in the Navy and is currently stationed aboard the USS John C. Stennis. Although his voyages have taken him far away from home for long periods of time, he has had the opportunity to explore foreign countries around the world. His love for his family and sister shine bright every time he calls and visits.
